We're delighted that the Government has announced an increase to the Early Years Pupil Premium – a longstanding ask of our Alliance.

The 45% increase, alongside the £75 million fund to expand places and support staff, signals a real commitment to spreading opportunity to every child.

Our Early Years Working Group is pleased to see this dedication to the crucial first five years of life, and looks forward to working with the Government to ensure that this resource is maximised through joined-up working across agencies, so every family feels supported, in every community.
