Sign our open letter to the Chancellor
The Fair Education Alliance is coordinating an open letter to the Chancellor to collectively advocate for children and young people from low-income households during the current Government Spending Review process.
A huge thank you to the 103 members who have added their backing to this open letter so far.
Each of our members has a vital part to play in tackling educational inequity; whether through targeted pupil interventions, support for staff, sharing knowledge and understanding, or front-line work in schools and multi-academy trusts.
We all share an exciting vision of a fair education system, where no child’s success is limited by their socioeconomic background. To achieve this, we must build structures for the future that stabilise school budgets and enable better collaboration of the services surrounding a child. We must also ensure that targeted funding pots reach those who need it, across every stage.
We believe the requests in this open letter will help the work of each of our members have a greater impact. Please do add your weight to our collective advocacy by signing it.
