Power2

We believe that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to thrive.

We unleash the power of children and young people to improve their wellbeing so they can thrive and reach their full potential - no matter their background or challenges. With our support, they develop their emotional, social and mental wellbeing, re-engage with school, build networks and access opportunities. Our work improves lives and reduces the considerable cost to society created by unfulfilled potential.

All our programme participants are experiencing vulnerabilities and challenges, and 98% are living in poverty.

Our outcomes speak for themselves; last year 83% of participants improved their wellbeing, 81% increased their self-confidence, and 75% improved their engagement with school and learning. 99% of participants would recommend our programmes to others.

Over the next two years, we have ambitious plans to scale our work so that more children and young people can experience positive outcomes. We’ll do this by securing more local authority and central government commissions, and by increasing our school customer base. We’re looking forward to the FEA Scaling Award helping us to do this, particularly in our long-term planning and by giving us the space and support to reflect.

The FEA are proud to endorse Power2 as a Scaling Award Winner. The need for impactful early-intervention programmes designed to develop crucial life skills, improve mental health and wellbeing, and boost confidence and self-esteem is something that resonated with the whole judging panel, and Power 2 does just this through mentoring and positive psychology. Having won the Innovation Award in 2020 to develop a new internal innovation, they offer a range of impactful programmes that we’re excited to support scale to meet the increasing need.
