Tees Valley Education Multi Academy Trust is dedicated to nurturing and developing excellence through a culture of commitment, courage, curiosity, and care. Serving children across specialist and mainstream settings in the Tees Valley, the Trust prides itself on its inclusive approach and outstanding educational and pastoral support. TVEd are passionate about social justice and working in partnership with others to tackle educational inequality at scale.
Their innovation (PLACE), aims to tackle root causes of poverty and inequality through hyperlocal initiatives, comprehensive community engagement, and deep social listening to achieve meaningful educational and social outcomes across the Teesside region.
Sean Harris is a researcher, author and Director of PLACE (People, Learning and Community Engagement) in TVEd.
